WanderWellness: Medical Marketplace.

Grunion is building a medical marketplace that matches patients and providers across cost, availability, and geography in one path.

Medical MarketplaceHealthcare / Travel

The problem

Patients looking outside their home market for care usually face the same wall. The useful information is split across provider sites, travel constraints, pricing questions, and waitlist friction. Providers who could serve those patients have the opposite problem. They have supply, but no clean way to surface it to the right people with the right expectations. Most of the coordination still happens through manual outreach and fragmented logistics.

The product direction

wanderwellness is a marketplace for geographic medical arbitrage. The system is designed to match patients and providers on cost, timing, treatment fit, and destination logistics in one flow. Provider credentialing, marketplace matching, and coordination logic live together because separating them is what creates the usual handoff waste. The point is to turn a messy cross-border care process into something navigable.

  • Intelligent provider matching
  • Credential verification engine
  • Cross-border care coordination

Design goals

  • Let patients compare cost, wait time, and location in one workflow.
  • Give providers a cleaner intake path for qualified international demand.
  • Replace ad hoc care coordination with a system that can hold the matching and logistics together.

Operational fit

This fits providers and operators working in elective, specialist, or waitlist-sensitive care markets where geography changes both cost and access. It is not a fit for emergency care or a workflow that depends on one local provider network.
